These terms govern your use of this website and the Atlas agent. By using the site you agree to them. Engagements where we build something for you — audits, pilots, custom agent builds — are governed by a separate written agreement that takes precedence over these terms for that work. Questions? Who we are

Qala is an AI agency based in East Africa (Kenya), building custom AI agents for businesses. References to "we", "us", and "our" in these terms mean Qala.

Use of the site

You may browse the site, contact us, book a call, and talk to the Atlas agent for your own business purposes. You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to disrupt it, probing or bypassing its security or rate limits, scraping it at volume, or using it to send spam or unlawful content through our forms or agents.

The Atlas agent

Atlas is an AI assistant that answers questions about what we do. Its responses are generated automatically and are provided for general information only — they are not professional advice, and they do not form an offer, a quote, or a contractual commitment by Qala. Pricing, scope, and timelines are only agreed in writing after a workflow audit. Atlas conversations are subject to the data-handling practices described in our privacy policy.

Qaladesk and third-party services

Qaladesk is our own product and runs as a separate service with its own terms, presented where you sign up for it. This site also links out to third-party services (for example our booking provider). Those services are governed by their own terms, and the processors involved in running this site are listed in our privacy policy.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, design, graphics, and branding — belongs to Qala. You may not reproduce it commercially without our permission. For client engagements: ownership of what we build for you (prompts, workflows, configuration, custom code) is set out in the engagement agreement; our standard position is that the delivered agent IP belongs to the client.

Acceptable use

When using the site, the contact form, or the Atlas agent, you agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or malicious (including malware or injection attempts), and not to impersonate others or misrepresent who you are. We may withdraw access to the site's interactive features — including rate-limiting or blocking — to protect the service and other visitors.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and the Atlas agent are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated responses are accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qala is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent substantive change; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
